A very rough first draft.

The age-long question: are gender issues sexual health issues? If so, are ALL gender issues sexual health issues? Are only transgender issues sexual health issues?

For many years now, trans issues have been lumped in with sexuality issues (LGBT), but is that where they belong when discussing sexual health? I want a sexual health world that is trans-informed, but I don’t know if it’s appropriate to say that every gender issue is also a sexual health issue. And I don’t know if it’s appropriate to say that only transgender issues are sexual health issues.

Sexual health issues can be related to sex and to gender. But not every gender-related issue is a sexual health issue and not every sexual health issue is a gender-related issue. So what’s the best approach?
