I just got back from the allergist. Look at my motherfucking arm! That ain\’t acne. They inject you with allergens to see if you\’re allergic to them, and if you are, you swell up and turn red at each point. I\’d show you my back but I can\’t get a picture of it. But look at my fucking arm! I wish I could get better light here, and had a better camera. I look like I have been eaten alive by mosquitos.
I have my venom test on Thursday, so no word yet as to whether I am actually allergic to mosquitos (heh) but I am allergic to cockroaches! No wonder I get sick in most of my apartments. Oh, and every kind of mold. No wonder I almost died. Oh, and I am heavily allergic to dogs. Dogs! My family has a had a damn dog since I was born (well, three dogs, one at a time) and all this time, the reason I am always so fucking sick when I live here is partially because I am allergic to the damn dog. Ha!
Therefore, tomorrow I make follow up visits to all my waiting list apartments. I am moving to the suburban ghetto, where ever will take me first. Of course, if anyone knows of a place where I can get a room with utilities for $165 or less a month — yeah, right! — that would make me happy, too. That is how much I will be paying at these apartments. Viva la subsidized housing which will leave me left with a whole $385 a month to live on! But I get free healthcare! And food stamps! Viva la government assisted living programs! And they might even be paying for my college education! Everybody develop a deabilitating chronic disease or syndrome, and feel guilty for the rest of your life! Yea! Okay, anyway… check out these potential new homes of mine:
I could live here, which is the swankest, and oddly enough, seems like the one most likely to happen.
Here, which is quite nicely located, though not as nice as the above.
This one has a POOL. Us po\’ people don\’t deserve such luxuries — ha!. I wonder if it has door to door paper delivery, too… heh.
This doesn\’t have disabled access… but it\’s cheap. Concessions must be made, and maybe I\’ll have a strong neighbor who can carry me up the stairs in the winter.
Again, this one has no disabled access, but as long as it has an elevator… |
With a little luck, I am getting the fuck out of here. Fingers crossed for me.
