Last month, 17-year-old VCU student Taylor Behl went missing from Richmond, VA. Today, amateur photographer Ben Fawley, a friend of hers who had photographed her, was arrested on child pornography charges.
Some of us from the local modeling community know or know of Fawley, aka Skulz20, Line Nowhere Productions, Noiz Productions and Nowhere Productions. He\’s been on OneModelPlace, DeviantArt, Livejournal, etc. Been around Richmond for years. He\’s done photos for Suicide Girls, Veg Porn, individual models, etc. He\’s 38.

His Yahoo profile — which very disturbingly links to exposingisobel.com. Now, some people say \”Isobel\” (that is her model name) and Ben had been fucking for a while before bullshit hit the fan; others say not. What is clear is his role as a helpful photographer overstepped his boundaries and stuck the girl\’s real legal name all over the internet (see his blogspot blogs, etc.). It is unclear if he linked to this site prior to the incident (which occured this past May-June 2005) and has since forgotten the link is there, or what; he may have motives, who knows? The site, however, is facilitated by another photographer: JD Marks, who is reputable (and I can vouch for that), so though the site is not currently up (perhaps due to Taylor\’s disappearance, but as yet no one who knows is talking publicly), the site IS endorsed by Isobel and is NOT run by Fawley. Isobel has modeled on SG, VegPorn, and BurningAngel (maybe more, I don\’t know). Her OMP is Model #113590. I\’m sure she\’s been interrogated by the police by now, etc., and is probably legally advised not to speak, but as part of the community I REALLY want to hear her take on it.

From my experience, I originally came from the East Coast, and I think that it\’s the same on the Left coast, this type of gutter language is common there and in some colleges as well. The Gothic movement, too, of which this is a small glimpst, also is awash with this filth. One has to wonder if they send their daughters to a college town like this, if they are turning them into utslays by doing so. I suspect even good girls today are bombarded daily by the filth we see in this case and eventually it affects some of them. You just have to try to instill in our children good values and hope some of it sticks. I never had a daughter, but I\’m glad i don\’t have to worry if my daughter will be corrupted by college. As we has seen most parents are probably not even aware of this world that are children are facing.
