When most people think of electronic music they think of oonce oonce oonce with a little bleep bleep bleep and a lot of thud thud thud, the kind of music people like Paul Oakenfold and Moby have made their millions off of. Last night at Galaxy Hut was the antithesis of that sort of style, and most of those attending knew it.

(I knew it and MW knew it, but when Matt showed up, he did not know it and he left ten minutes later to flyer our cars with yet more earnest attempts at getting folks to turn up at Arlingtronica. Last Saturday of every month at Dr. Dremo\’s in Arlington. You know you want to go. It is a laid back atmosphere, sitting around in the basement, no dancing, just drinking and enjoying the show, so get your asses out there and support electronic music in D.C.)

Local (okay, he is from Baltimore) DJ Cex started the night out spinning ………..

Okay, I don\’t know whether to apologize to \”the readers\” or myself, but some shit just went down over here, I\’ve lost my inspiration and I can\’t write a damn thing or even remember last night. For \’s sake, because he should have been there, but I did not know about it until the last minute myself (it kicked so much ass, dude), so you should check out:

Lucky Dragons, Goodiepal, and Kevin Blechdom. Especially Kevin Blechdom; she was amazing. She was like a combination of Peaches and Heather Lewis.

By the way, anyone who wants mix tapes should let me know. I am in the mood these days.
