I do not do \’cute\’.

\’Do\’ as in the vernacular of seventh grade. \”Didja do him? Was he cute?\” Herein lies the problem.

I repeat: I do not do \’cute\’.

\’Cute\’ conjures up images of fluffy bunny rabbits, stuffed animals, pink fuzzy things. While I admit that the subculture of Furries occasionally holds a stunning appeal to me, it does so in a licentious manner, beckoning me from across socially accepted practices and combining the sweetly innocent with the raw and dangerous. But \’cute\’ on its own, simply standard, with all its lack of corruption, holds no appeal to me whatsoever.

Do not give me \’cute\’. I see \’cute\’ and I want to get the fucking of you over in five minutes or less — passing up on the foreplay if at all possible — and finish my performance off on the edge of the now very unkempt bed with a much dragged on cigarette, even though I do not smoke.

\’Cute\’ makes me want to down my drinks faster than the bartender can pour them so I can forget your name quicker than you can get off your underwear — it is the sooner I can get out the door and forget I was ever there.

Using the word \’cute\’ on me as a compliment will guarantee that I will not be going home with you that night, or ever. Calling yourself \’cute\’ is a sure fire way to make me start examining your profile, both inside and out, reflecting on your true being: is this person actually a vapid schmuck? \’Cute\’ is my one way ticket out of there. \’Cute\’ is my calling card to freedom.

I am not interested in \’cute\’. \’Cute\’ has become a throwaway compliment in this day and age, suggesting an average sort of acceptable physicality with one or two characteristics that are worth mentioning as being of at least slightly above average quality. \’Cute\’ will not do.

Give me beauty, give me down right butt fucking ugly, but give me individual physical personality! Bowl me over with peculiarities and features, endowments and idiosyncrasies. Everyone can appear \’cute\’ at one time or another, but few can pull off a sincere physical individuality.

Stun me. Just do not give me \’cute\’.
